V-Day is almost here, friends! Are you ready for some super sippable Valentine’s Day mocktails? Whether you are sober-curious, completely alcohol-free, or simply taking a breather after a lingering festive season, these light and lovely drinks will pave the way for a lovely romantic evening without any ABV in the mix 🌹💌🏹💋

Let’s start with a nice theme-appropriate Valentine’s Day mocktail, shall we? We love a matchy-matchy situation, and this zesty pink drink is always a treat. To make one, add a handful of hulled strawberries to a blender along with 60ml alcohol-free gin. Strain the mixture into a tall glass filled with ice, top off with 180ml icy-cold lemonade, and garnish with some fresh lime slices.

2. Olive Oil & Strawberry Lemon Mocktail

If you’re on the lookout for a more unusual Valentine’s mocktail, you might want to consider this Olive Oil & Strawberry Lemon Mocktail. Fat-washed cocktails are a major trend at the moment, and even though this drink doesn’t go all the way to fat-washing, it does have a delightful creaminess from the olive oil, which we adore.  

To make a batch, add one whole lemon (organic, washed, sliced with seeds removed) to a blender along with 4 hulled strawberries, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 2 tablespoons of honey, a pinch of table salt, and 3 cups of cold water. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer and serve it in your favorite cocktail glasses with a swirl of olive oil on top.

3. Matcha & Honey Sipper

If you want a Valentine’s mocktail with some health-boosting ingredients in the mix, give the Matcha & Honey Sipper a try. Add 70ml of prepared, cooled matcha to a glass with 15ml of honey syrup. Give it a stir, add ice, and top it off with 180ml non-alcoholic beer. Stir gently, garnish with a pretty edible flower, and a lemon wheel, and enjoy. 

4. Turmeric Grapefruit Ginger Spritz

Mocktails for Valentine’s Day with a bit of spice to keep things interesting? Don’t mind if we do! Effervescent and delightful in every way, this Turmeric Grapefruit Ginger Spritz recipe serves up a delicious dose of healthy, happy vibes.  

To make a batch, start by steeping two white tea bags in 180ml of hot water for two minutes. Remove the bags, stir in half a teaspoon of ground turmeric and two tablespoons of honey syrup. Let the mixture cool in the fridge.  

Once the tea mixture has cooled, add one cup of grapefruit juice two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, a handful of ice and stir Add fresh ice to your serving glasses, fill them about 3/4 of the way, and top them off with a dash of sparkling water for a bit of fizz.  

TOP TIP! Rim your serving glass with a mixture of salt and grapefruit zest for some extra YUM.

To make two of these viral TikTok drinks, start by muddling a handful of raspberries in two serving glasses. Then combine 60ml tart cherry juice, 180ml steeped and cooled chamomile tea, a splash of lemon juice, and half a teaspoon of unflavoured magnesium glycinate powder in a shaker with ice. Divide the mixture between your serving glasses, add  60ml sparkling water to each glass, garnish as desired, and enjoy!

Easy Valentine’s mocktails do not come any simpler than the Virgin Mimosa. If you are serving up a brunchtime spread, this drink will fit in perfectly with the occasion. It’s also the ideal drink to serve if you feel a little bit intimidated by drinks with lots of ingredients and fancy shaker work. To make a batch, simply combine 3 cups of chilled ginger ale with 1 cup of chilled orange juice in a pitcher over ice. Stir it, and you’re good to go!

For a romantic mocktail with a gut-healthy twist, try a Sparkly Pomegranate Kombucha. To make a batch to serve 4, muddle a slice or two of fresh ginger in the bottom of your pitcher. Then add half a cup of pomegranate juice and 700ml of your go-to kombucha. Stir it and pour it into Champagne flutes with a few pomegranate arils in the bottom.

Short on time? Try this easy-peasy Valentine’s Day mocktail recipe that comes together in minutes. To make a Breezy Morning in an Orchard mocktail, fill a chilled glass with ice, add 90ml of orange juice, a squeeze of lime, and a dash of non-alcoholic bitters. Top off with 180 – 200ml of your favorite flavoured sparkling mineral water. We like a cucumber and mint combo, but get creative and make the drink your own.

9. Virgin Ginger Mule

In a cocktail shaker, muddle 8 mint sprigs, a small piece of candied ginger, 15ml simple syrup, and the juice of one lime. Add 60ml sparkling water or soda water, a dash or two of non-alcoholic bitters, and ice, and shake vigorously. Add three or four large ice cubes to your serving glass, decant the drink, and garnish with mint, a lime slice, and a sliver of candied ginger. 

10. Non-Alcoholic Espresso Martini

The retro-amazing Espresso Martini is a super classy way to round off a romantic evening. To make the non-alcoholic version for two, combine a cup of strongly brewed coffee (chilled), two tablespoons of aquafaba, 2 tablespoons of maple syrup, a teaspoon of vanilla, half a teaspoon of ground cinnamon, and half a teaspoon of cacao powder in a cocktail shaker without ice. Dry shake, then add ice and shake again until frosty. Strain into two Martini glasses and spoon the foam on top.
