There’s nothing quite as comforting as the warmth and flavours of a steaming mug of Spiced Apple Cider. Enjoy this classic non-alcoholic cider in colder weather and sip yourself into that nostalgic holiday season feeling while enjoying the delicious smell of aromatic spices filling the air.
Common spices for spiced apple cider are cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, allspice, and star anise. Play around and find your favourite mix.

Taste as you go, and adjust the sweeteners and spices as needed.

Add the brown sugar, allspice and a pinch of nutmeg
Stir until the sugar is dissolved and bring to a low boil
Cover a whole orange with whole cloves by sticking them into the peel
Add the orange to the cider mixture and reduce the heat to a slow simmer
