Blend the rice, almonds, and cinnamon sticks in a blender or food processor along with the 4 cups of hot water until smooth

Let it sit for four hours or overnight

Strain the mixture through cheesecloth, into a pitcher

Stir in the milk, sugar, and vanilla extract (adjust sugar to taste)
