Old Cuban Cocktail with mint and lime garnish

The Old Cuban was originally created by renowned mixologist Audrey Saunders in New York back in the early 2000s and has since become a staple in bars all over the world. Fresh lime juice
Lime peel to garnish
Ice

INSTRUCTIONS

Add the mint leaves, lime juice and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker

Gently muddle then add ice

Add the rum and bitters, then close the shaker

Shake until properly chilled

Double strain into a chilled coupe glass

Top with Champagne

Garnish with a sprig of mint and lime wheel
